Abstract:

In order to explore the relationship between procrastination trait and future time perspective, as well as the mediating role of future work self salience and career adaptability, a total of 407 college students were investigated using the Short General Procrastination Scale, Future Work Self Salience Scale, Career Adaptability Scale and Future Time Perspective Scale in this study. The results showed that: (1) future work self salience mediated the relationship between procrastination trait and future time perspective; (2) career adaptability mediated the relationship between procrastination trait and future time perspective; (3) future work self salience and career adaptability played a chain mediatng role between procrastination trait and future time perspective.
