A Latent Class of Moral Foundation and Its Comparisons on Life Satisfaction and Meaning in Life

Abstract: The purpose of the present study is to explore the latent class of moral foundations from the person-centered perspective. We surveyed 5911 individuals which were from 31 provinces. The results showed that: (1) there are three classes of moral foundation which names as “moral relevance and judgment balancing group”“high relevance and low judgement group” and high relevance and high moral judgment group. (2) the results of mixture regression model showed that the individuals of the three different moral foundation have a significant difference on life satisfaction and meaning in life. The are some theorical implication for the moral studies and deepen the understantding of the life satisfaction and meaningness in life.
