Abstract:

Anger rumination refers to the cognitive emotional process of repeated recalling angry events, their causes and results. The cognitive process of anger rumination will maintain or strengthen anger, reduce inhibitory control ability, increase aggression, and affect physical and mental health. Anger rumination is not only affected by demographic variables, but also by individual physical and psychological factors and social factors. In the future, more in-depth research can be conducted from the aspects of the similarities and differences between trait anger rumination and state anger rumination, more influencing factors may affect anger rumination, the loss effect between anger rumination and executive function, and the positive role of anger rumination.
