Abstract:

In order to grasp the research hotspots and development trends of foreign campus bullying macroscopically, the bibliometric method was used to analyze the annual publication volume, annual citation volume, institution, author, country, keywords and other indicators of 5331 papers on campus bullying in the past two decades. The results showed that the annual publication volume and annual citation volume of school bullying research are increasing year by year. The United States is the most important country producing international school bullying research, and the influence of China’s school bullying research on the international stage needs to be further improved. Research hotspots and development trends of bullying include exploring the negative personality factors that lead to school bullying and the positive personality factors that alleviate school bullying to more accurately intervene and suppress school bullying, pay attention to and explore the characteristics and intervention paths of school bullying of sexual minorities, and further clarify the relationship between bullying and traditional school bullying, in-depth exploration of the complex mechanism between body image and bullying behavior, and continuous innovation on the basis of continuing traditional methods of intervening and suppressing school bullying, etc.
