    Psychology: Techniques and Application. 2016, 4 (5):  257-265.  DOI: 10.16842/j.cnki.issn2095-5588.2016.05.001
    Abstract ( 228 )   PDF(pc) (833KB) ( 720 )   Save
In service industry, employees emotion displaying exerts influence on customers satisfaction, their own performance and exhaustion. How an employee express his or her emotion is not only motivated by his own true emotion but also is directed by emotion display rules of the organization. Two kinds of emotional rules, which are expressing positive emotion and inhibiting negative emotion, give burden to ones emotional sources and cause effect on ones emotional exhaustion. Therefore, we hypothesized that expressing emotional displaying rules have positive relation with exhaustion. Emotional labor has direct relation with exhaustion and emotional display. We hypothesized that emotional labor mediated the relation between inhibiting negative emotion rule and exhaustion, and the relation between expressing positive emotion rule and exhaustion. Rule commitment predict positively whether one perform the rules or not. Only one performs emotional displaying rules of the organization, emotional displaying may have effect on emotion exhaustion. Therefore, rule commitment moderated the relation between emotional displaying rules and exhaustion, and the relation between emotional displaying rules and emotional labor. We established a model presenting the emotional labors mediating role and rule commitments moderating role above. Structural equation model was used to test the hypothesis. Consistent with predictions, the results showed that inhibiting negative emotion rules can positively predict emotion exhaustion, and surface labor can positively predict emotion exhaustion. Meanwhile, surface labor mediated the relation between inhibiting negative emotion rules and exhaustion. However, expressing positive emotion rules can not predict emotion exhaustion, and surface labor do not mediated the relation between expressing positive emotion and emotion exhaustion. Commitment to emotion rules can not predict emotion exhaustion. Meanwhile, commitment to emotion rules moderate the relation between expressing positive emotion rules and exhaustion. However, commitment does not moderate the relation between inhabiting negative emotion rules. This research extends our understanding of the emotion display rules and the impact they have on employees emotion exhaustion.

To explore to what extent do belief in a just world(BJW) and social emotion(SE) influence social wellbeing(SWB), this study compiled social emotion questionnaire , and assessed 467 college students on social emotion scale, belief in a just world scale, social wellbeing scale. The results show that: Social emotion was negatively correlated with social wellbeing, immanent justice and ultimate justice were both significantly and positively correlated with all five dimensions of SWB, immanent justice and ultimate justice were both significantly and negatively correlated with SE, while immanent injustice was negatively correlated with SWB and significantly and positively correlated with SE. BJW plays a compensation and partial mediating role between SE and SWB. Its significant that this study can promote college students mental health and social wellbeing.

    Abstract ( 379 )   PDF(pc) (715KB) ( 557 )   Save
To explore the mediating role of mindfulness in the relationship between connectedness to nature and subjective wellbeing, the inclusion of nature in the self (INS), Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire(FFMQ) and Index of WellBeing(IWB) were administered to 231 College students in Beijing. The study showed that (1)Pearson correlation analysis showed that natural connectedness was positively correlated to subjective wellbeing (r=0.196, p<0.01) and to mindfulness(r=0.238, p<0.001), and that there was significant positive correlation between mindfulness and subjective wellbeing (r=0.345, p<0.001). (2)Hierarchical linear modeling showed significant full mediation of mindfulness in association between natural connectedness and subjective wellbeing of college students. Mindfulness fully mediated the positive link between natural connectedness and subjective wellbeing of college students.

Composite secondary test uses different testing methods on people tested by a same question twice, and record the testees physiological response, data of the behavior, reaction time and physiological indicators, then analyze the data, for purpose of criminal investigation. The composite secondary questions used in criminal psychology test could effectively improve the detection rate, and identify whether the people tested is “oneface” or “doubleface”. Thus provide support for criminal investigation, civil disputes and recruiting.

The Effect of Inhibition of Return in True Face
    Psychology: Techniques and Application. 2016, 4 (5):  284-289.  DOI: 10.16842/j.cnki.issn2095-5588.2016.05.005
    Abstract ( 171 )   PDF(pc) (1222KB) ( 675 )   Save
Inhibition of return (IOR) shows a slow response to targets at recently attended locations. To investigate IOR effect of face processing in college students and know their ability of attentional inhibition, a cue-target paradigm and ERPs technology were used to ask subjects to complete location task. At the position of target stimuli, neutral face photographs as targets captured objects attention. It was found that at the both level of behavior and EEG, IOR effect were remarkable. Compared with cued clues, uncued clues of N1 were smaller and of N170 were greater. The results suggested that IOR effect existed in the initial processing of face, indicating that this effect arised from the early perception changes and supporting the perception inhibition theory.

Anthropomorphism describes the tendency to attribute humanlike qualities to nonhuman agent, making it a live person with feelings and thoughts. Currently, anthropomorphism is more widely used in the domain of humancomputer interaction. This study introduces the theoretical background of anthropomorphism and gives a detailed explanation to the psychological significance of anthropomorphism on the application and effect of humancomputer interaction. The future research directions of anthropomorphism lie in the investigation of the anthropomorphic application boundary and utility maximization on humancomputer interaction from the perspective of designers and users, as well as the exploration of the process of dehumanization.
