Solutionfocused Coaching: Principle, Technique, Practice and Evaluation

Abstract: Solutionfocused coaching, generating from postmodern psychology, is the application of solutionfocused approach whose particular technique stems from the belief of solutionfocused therapy. The philosophical beliefs of solutionfocused coaching originated in postmodernism psychology, and its main principles are based on the basic beliefs of solutionfocused therapy. Summarizing the basic techniques, practice model and evaluation approach, this paper is proposed to shed light on the further practice and development on solutionfocused coaching approach.
