Abstract: To study the inner psychological mechanism of assortative mating concept, this article   explored the effects of the role of control striving and economic environment stress on the relationship between the sense of security and marriage match based on the life history theory. We choose the Security Questionnaire,  the Assortative Mating Concept Questionnaire, the Primary-Secondary Control Optimization Scale, the questionnaire on the socioeconomic status of childhood and the Subjective Socioeconomic Status Scale. The results showed that control striving played an intermediary role between the sense of security and assortative mating concept, and childhood economic environment stress played a regulatory role in the sense of security and assortative mating concept. The current economic environment stress regulation effect is not significant, but high current economic environment stress individuals assortative mating concept is significantly lower than individuals with low current economic environment stress.
