Abstract: In order to preliminarily verify the effectiveness and mechanisms of meridian-following meditation training on physiological relaxation, 20 students voluntarily participated in the single meridian-following meditation training, and EDG data(heart rate variability) was recorded before and during the training by polygraph. The results show that meridian-following meditation training can reduce the heart rate and has a relaxing effect, but its long-term effect still needs further study.

Key words: meridian-following meditation, integrated orientation, psychotherapy, physiological mechanism, heart rate variability
