    Psychology: Techniques and Application. 2017, 5 (9):  513-520.  DOI: 10.16842/j.cnki.issn2095-5588.2017.09.001
    Abstract ( 238 )   PDF(pc) (625KB) ( 554 )   Save
The present study aimed to investigate the effect of sadness, happyiness, and neutral emotion on undergraduate athletes working memory. Sixty two student athletes were chosen as the subjects. Heart rate variability (HRV) data during the video of every subject was assessed. After that, they rated their feeling about the video. Finally, these subjects performed dot matrix tasks. The results showed that the group difference of the emotional selfassessment was significant. The value of LFnorm and LF/HF also showed the group difference. These results indicated that the induced affects were successful. Hierarchical regression revealed that the value of LF/HF negatively predicted the reaction time in dot matrix task. The analysis of covariance found that the correct rate and the reaction time of the dot matrix task under neutral emotional condition were significantly better than the other two groups. We concluded that the role of emotion on the working memory was adjusted by the emotion regulation selfefficiency. The neutral emotion was beneficial to the working memory efficiency of undergraduate athletes, and the moderate nervous and interest may facilitate the working memory efficiency of undergraduate athletes.

Learning engagement is a kind of positive, fulfilling mental state about learning. Based on the previous research, professional identity had acceleration effect on learning engagement. But the mechanism of the effect of professional identity on learning engagement still need to be studied further. This research constructed a multiple mediation model to test the mediating effect of positive academic emotion and academic delayed gratification on the relationshipbetween professional identity and learning engagement. This study tested 300 undergraduate students with College Students Professional Identity Questionnaire, College Students General Academic Emotion Questionnaire, Academic Delayed Gratification Scale and Chinese version Learning Engagement Scale. The structural equation model showed that: (1) professional identity had significant positive predict ability to learning engagement; (2) the mediating effect test showed that positive academic emotion and academic delayed gratification ability had a multiple mediating effect on professional identity and learning engagement. This study found that professional identity was helpful to arouse students positive academic emotion and academic delayed gratification ability and proved that academic emotion and selfcontrol ability had combined effect on learning engagement, which had certain guiding significance for improving college students learning engagement.

Feeling of the Passage of Time: Concept Exploration,Scale Development and Its Reliability and Validity
    Psychology: Techniques and Application. 2017, 5 (9):  542-552.  DOI: 10.16842/j.cnki.issn2095-5588.2017.09.005
    Abstract ( 366 )   PDF(pc) (782KB) ( 869 )   Save
Based on the theories and empirical conclusions of “time awareness”, we explored the structure of the feeling of passage of time (FPT) using interviews and a selfdesigned scale in this study. Firstly, according to the exploratory factor analysis, three common factors of the FPT were extracted and were named “emotion”, “susceptibility” and “behavior tendency” respectively. This result is consistent with the “emotionattention” model of time perception, and the new contents of “behavior” enriched the concept of FPT. Further confirmatory factor analysis also showed that the threedimensional structure of the scale exhibited stable consistency among different populations (included the middle school students, the undergraduate students and middleaged adults). The total score and the subscores of each factor correlated with the index of depression and anxiety significantly, indicated that the scale had reasonable criteriarelated validity. Also, the combination reliability, internal consistency and the cuthalf reliability of the scale met the requirements of psychometrics. Finally, the shortcomings of the validity and reliability analysis of the FPT and the corresponding improvement strategies were discussed. Conclusion: This study preliminarily investigated the threedimensional structure of the FPT. We also revealed that the selfdesigned scale had good reliability and validity stable, which can be used as a tool for testing the FPT across different populations.
