  • Online:2024-07-01 Published:2024-07-02

Abstract:

Based on the evaluation method of fuzzy mathematics, this study explored the comprehensive effects of takeover lead time, driving trust, emotional arousal, and gender factors on takeover performance. Questionnaires and experiments were used to evaluate the performance of the subjects' autonomous driving takeover. The results showed that the takeover performance of 3s lead time was the best, followed by 5s, and the takeover performance of 8s was the worst. Driver takeover performance with low driving trust is better than that with high trust; Male drivers performed better takeovers than women, drivers performed better when neutral emotions were aroused, and interactions showed that men had the worst takeover performance after arousing positive emotions. The main conclusion of this study is that the driver's emotional stability favors the driver's takeover of the vehicle in an emergency.
