This study was to examine the relations between different motivations for using SNSs and online altruistic behaviors, and the mediation of online social supports and online interpersonal trust. 654 college students were investigated with questionnaires online. The results showed that (1) three motivations for using SNSs (expressive information sharing, escape, cool and new trend) positively predicted online altruistic behaviors, while another three motivations for using SNSs (social interaction, relaxing entertainment and habitual passing time) negatively predicted online altruistic behaviors; (2) the mediation effect of online social supports between motivations for using SNSs and online altruistic behaviors was significant; (3) the mediation of online interpersonal trust between four motivations for using SNSs (expressive information sharing, escape, social interaction, cool and new trend) and online altruistic behaviors was also significant; (4) online social supports and online interpersonal trust played a chain mediation in the association of motivations for using SNSs and online altruistic behaviors. Conclusion: Whatever the use of motivation, the more social support one gets in the use of social networking sites, the increase in altruistic behavior in the Internet, or indirectly promoting the Internets altruistic behavior by improving online interpersonal trust.

In order to explore the influence mechanism of the inclusive leadership on the job performance of secondary school teachers, the Inclusive Leadership Questionnaire, Job Performance Questionnaire, SelfEfficacy Scale and Collective Efficacy Questionnaire were administered to 474 secondary school teachers. The results showed that: (1) the correlations among inclusive leadership, job performance, selfefficacy and collective efficacy were statistically significant; (2) inclusive leadership had a significant positive effect on the job performance; (3) selfefficacy partially mediated the relationship between inclusive leadership and job performance, and the collective efficacy completely mediated the relation between them.

The Impact of Eyebrow on Dominance Ratings
    ZHU Lei, HUANG Yanchun
    Psychology: Techniques and Application. 2019, 7 (7):  403-408.  DOI: 10.16842/j.cnki.issn2095-5588.2019.07.003
    Abstract ( 491 )   PDF(pc) (669KB) ( 680 )   Save
Angry faces were rated as being more dominant and faces with lowered and assembled eyebrows (v-shaped eyebrows) were perceived as being angry. Thus, whether faces with lowered and assembled eyebrows would be rated as being more dominant? The present study aims to answer this question. In the experiment, participants were presented a series of faces with their eyebrows in the typical positions or lowered and assembled and asked to rate the dominance and angry expression of the face. The results showed that faces with lowered and assembled eyebrows were rated as being angrier and more dominant. The effect of eyebrow position on dominance ratings was fully mediated by the angry ratings. The findings indicated that merely manipulating eyebrow positions could lead to a perception of being angry, which modulated peoples understanding of others personality, i. e. dominance.

The Effect of Self control on College Freshman's Aggression:A Chain Mediation Model through Perspective Taking and Interpersonal Trust

    Psychology: Techniques and Application. 2019, 7 (7):  409-415.  DOI: 10.16842/j.cnki.issn2095-5588.2019.07.004
    Abstract ( 643 )   PDF(pc) (591KB) ( 900 )   Save
To probe into the multiple mediating models of perspective taking and interpersonal trust on the relationship between selfcontrol and aggression, 497 college freshmen were measured with the Selfcontrol Scale, interpersonal reactivity indexperspective taking, Propensity to Trust Survey and ShortForm BussPerry Aggression Questionnaire, respectively. The results indicated that various significant positive correlations were found among selfcontrol, perspective taking, interpersonal trust, and both of them were negative correlated with aggression. The mediating effect test showed that selfcontrol affected aggression not only directly but through two indirect paths: through the mediating role of interpersonal trust and the chain mediating roles of perspective taking and interpersonal trust. This study found that perspective taking and generalized trust played multiple mediation effects between self control and college freshman's interpersonal trust.

To test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of Smartphone Addiction Scale (SAS), a sample of 1247 college students was tested, in which 50 students were selected for re-test four weeks later. Meanwhile, the Chinese Internet Addiction Scales Revision and the Regulatory Emotional Selfefficacy Scale were selected as the criterion measurement. It was found that the Smartphone Addiction Scale consisted of six factors, i. e., daily-life disturbance, positive anticipation, withdrawal, importance, cyberspace-oriented relationship, overuse and tolerance, and 57. 13 of the total variance was explained. It had satisfying reliability and validity. It is an effective tool of testing the smartphone addiction in college student.

Reciprocity plays a significant role in the development of human society. This paper provides a critical review of mechanisms and its influencing factors in childrens reciprocity. Key literature on generation mechanism of childrens reciprocal behavior was reviewed and organized around four commonly used subdomains: direct benefit, psychological benefit, punishment and indebtedness. It also summarized the influence on childrens reciprocal behavior through individual factors and external factors. Finally, it raises future research directions of reciprocity form experimental technique and cultural differences.

Cue Integration and Its Validity in Judgment of Learning
    WANG Jingyu, QU Kejia,
    Psychology: Techniques and Application. 2019, 7 (7):  433-440.  DOI: 10.16842/j.cnki.issn2095-5588.2019.07.007
    Abstract ( 368 )   PDF(pc) (587KB) ( 514 )   Save
Based on the cue utilization model, previous studies have found that individuals can make judgment of learning based on single or multiple cues. The latter involves the cue integration in judgment of learning. The paper introduces related research when multiple external cues, multiple internal cues, and internal and external cues are presented simultaneously. On this basis, we propose that future research can continue to explore the cue integration in judgment of learning from the types of cues, the level of cues, and the effect of cues. At the same time, we point out that future research should focus on individual differences in cue integration under different number of cues, and analyze the influence of cues on judgment of learning at the individual level.

    Psychology: Techniques and Application. 2019, 7 (7):  441-448.  DOI: 10.16842/j.cnki.issn2095-5588.2019.07.008
    Abstract ( 614 )   PDF(pc) (603KB) ( 601 )   Save
This paper discussed the physiological, psychological and brain mechanisms of egodepletion. Physiological mechanism of egodepletion was mainly discussed from the view of blood glucose. Four psychological mechanism of egodepletion were motivation level, time perception, implicit belief and interpretation level. Based on ERN index and the activation of vmPFC, DLPFC and other brain regions, we can reveal brain mechanism of egodepletion. Future research needs to explore two problems in physiological mechanism, firstly, whether the blood glucose can be used as the energy of selfcontrol; secondly, what is the mechanism for promoting selfcontrol through glucose? In terms of psychological mechanism, firstly, it should be further clarified which mechanisms are the general reasons for egodepletion; secondly, the unique mechanisms in different fields of egodepletion should be analyzed. In terms of brain mechanism, firstly, whether different types of selfcontrol tasks activate the same brain regions; secondly, whether the relationship between brain activation index and egodepletion can be quantified. Finally, the interaction of physiological, psychological and brain mechanisms of egodepletion is also worth studying.
