Abstract: Internet-based takeout has given rise to a growing group of take away riders, but their physical and mental health problems have drawn increasing attention from the society. Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a systematic, long-term benefit support program that an organization sets up for its employees. On the basis of investigating the physical and mental stress status and EAP service demand of takeaway riders, this study designed the EAP service plan of the riders and evaluated the effectiveness of the plan, so as to explore the mechanism of action of the effectiveness of EAP service. This study designed and tested EAP service programs for take away riders based on the physical and mental stress status of off-market riders and the investigation of EAP service needs, and investigated the mechanism of EAP service effectiveness. The results of this study enrich the relevant conclusions of EAP empirical evaluation and provide a feasible reference scheme for enterprises to purchase EAP services.
