Abstract: The main aim of this article is to explore the relationship between their perception of social support and conflictbetrayal behavior, and the intermediary functionality due to selfesteem and social anxiety. Totally 440 students were surveyed with selfesteem scale, social anxiety scale, perceived social support scale and friendship quality questionnaire. Based on these questionnaires, we construct an Amos model to fit the data. The results showed that, (1) boys scores in conflictbetrayal behavior were higher than girls, while girls scores in perceived social support were higher than boys; (2) conflictbetrayal behavior was positively correlated with social anxiety, which was negatively correlated with both perceived social support and selfesteem; Selfesteem was negatively correlated with social anxiety, but positively correlated with perceived social support; (3) social anxiety and selfesteem played a chain intermediation role between perceived social support and conflictbetrayal behavior. This study showed that increasing the level of individual understanding of social support and selfesteem and slowing down the level of social anxiety could help individuals build better intimate relationships and reduce conflictbetrayal behavior.
