Relationship Between Dark Triad, Self-control and Aggressive Behavior of Vocational College Students

Abstract: In order to explore the relationship between dark triad and vocational college students and the mediating role of self-control between them, we investigated 721 students in Jiangsu and Shaanxi vocational schools, by using Dirty Dozen, Brief Self-control Scale and Chinese Buss-Perry Attack Questionnaire. Results indicated that: (1) The dark triad level of one-child students was higher than that of non-only-child students. (2) There was a significantly negative correlation between dark triad and self-control, a significantly negative correlation between self-control and aggressive behavior, and a significant positive correlation between dark triad and aggressive behavior. (3) The mediation model showed that self-control played a partially mediating role between dark triad and aggressive behavior.
