Due to the particularity and importance of the university counselors, it is of great significance to deepen the understanding of their calling and its role. Based on the work-family enrichment theory, this study explores the relationship between living a calling, job satisfaction, and life satisfaction among Chinese university counselors, and examines the mediating role of family-work enrichment. With a sample of 267 university counselors, the results shows that living a calling significantly and positively relates to work-to-family enrichment and family-to-work enrichment, and in turn work-to-family enrichment significantly and positively relates to job satisfaction and life satisfaction. This indicates that work-to-family enrichment plays a mediating role in the relation between living a calling, job satisfaction, and life satisfaction.
