The Changing Characteristics of Language Content and Selective Attention in Referential Communication Learning

Abstract: The study used the referential communication paradigm and created the learning task of function prediction to explore the characteristics of language content and selective attention in the learning process of referential communication. The results suggested that: (1)On the whole, the content of the communication language showed the characteristic of change in the learning process of referential communicating, and the stability characteristics were shown in the local learning stage.(2)The overall level of selective attention showed a steady increase trend in the learning process of referential communication. The growth of the first half of the learning process was relatively faster, and the latter half tended to be stable.(3)The directivity level of selective attention was expressed as a rapid rise and showing the stability of the characteristics; The concerntration level showed a constant change.
