A Review of Team Creativity and Its Influencing Factors

Abstract: Team creativity is defined as the production of new and useful ideas by a team of employees working together, for the purpose of the accomplishment of team goals. As there are always interaction and collision of ideas in a team,team creativity also shows some different properties with individual creativity. The present essay first discriminated the two similar concepts,team creativity and team innovation,and then reviewed and discussed four main influencing factors to team creativity(i.e. team feature,transformational leadership,team progress and task feature). Finally,we proposed three main directions for future research.
