Research Paradigm and Decision Quality Evaluation for Group Decision Making

Abstract: Compared with individual decision making, group decision making plays an important role in modern production and life. In this paper, we firstly reviewed the research of group decision making from two aspects: one is the research paradigm of group decision making, and the other is the evaluation method of decision quality. Then, we put forward the processoutcome model to evaluate the group decision process, which can make up for the disadvantage of the existing researches. We tried to evaluate the group decision making in four dimensions, the information processing, interpersonal interaction, objective result and subjective feeling of the task. Finally, we prospected the future evaluation system based on the model.
