Abstract: In order to explore the influence of moral emotions with different valence on the prosocial behavior of college students, this study takes moral emotion as the independent variable and prosocial behavior as the dependent variable, tested 60 undergraduates with the method of Emotional Induction Experiment and Implicit Association Test (IAT) and the College Student Prosocial Tendency Scale. The results illustrate that (1) the effect of the implicit association test is significant and college students have implicit prosocial behavior; (2) undergraduate scores of implicit prosocial behavior have no significant correlation with the scores of explicit emotional prosocial behavior, compliant prosocial behavior, altruistic prosocial behavior, anonymity prosocial behavior, urgent prosocial behavior, open prosocial behavior and the total scores of prosocial behaviors; (3) the positive moral emotion group and the negative moral emotion group of college students scored significantly higher than the neutral emotion group in the total scores of explicit prosocial behavior and the scores of emotionality, compliance, altruism, anonymity, openness and urgency;(4) compared with the neutral emotion group, college students showed more significant implicit prosocial behavior in the positive moral emotion group, but there are no striking differences in the scores of the implicit prosocial behavior of negative moral emotion group and the positive and neutral emotion group. Therefore, the prosocial behavior of college students has obvious separation effect, that is, prosocial behavior is explicit and implicit, and the two have relatively independent structure; positive moral emotion can stimulate the explicit and implicit prosocial behavior of college students. Negative moral emotions can stimulate the explicit prosocial behavior of college students, but they do not necessarily stimulate the implicit prosocial behavior of college students.

Key words: moralemotion;prosocialbehavior, the implicit association test
